FIFTH AI ACADEMY POLICY
Responsible AI Policy
Last updated 25 August 2026
How AI is taught and used inside the academy, and what we expect from learners.
Provisional wording. This policy is published in good faith and is pending final legal review. Where it conflicts with applicable law, the law prevails.
How we teach AI
Every module pairs capability with consequence: data provenance, consent, bias, evaluation, hallucination risk, human oversight and deployment safety are taught alongside the technique.
AI inside the platform
Where AI assists academy features, outputs are labelled, a human remains accountable for grading and certification decisions, and learner work is not used to train external models.
What we expect from learners
Use assistants to learn, not to substitute for your own understanding. Disclose AI assistance in lab and capstone submissions. Do not build or submit projects designed to deceive, surveil without consent, or cause harm.
